Yaser Moustafa
(Chief Executive Officer)
Yaser Moustafa is the Chief Executive Officer of Brightshore Global Investment B.V and member of its Investment Committee. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Yaser was the Managing Director, responsible for private equity, Yaser was an Executive Director and Head of Saudi Arabia Investment Banking for Nomura International. Prior to Nomura, Yaser acted as interim CEO for a leading support services company and for the largest restaurant operator in Qatar, amongst other roles. Yaser started his career at Lehman Brothers in investment banking in the U.S.
Tamer Karam
(Executive Director)
Tamer Karam is an Executive Director at Brightshore Global Investment B.V . Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Tamer spent five years in investment banking and buy-side advisory roles with Wasatah Capital and Rasmala Investment Bank in Saudi Arabia. Earlier in his career, Tamer worked for three years as a business analyst with a natural stone importer and fabricator in Boston, USA
Cem Bayulgen
(Managing Director)
Cem Bayulgen is a Managing Director at Brightshore Global Investment B.V , member of its Investment Committee and serves on several boards of the firm’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Cem was the CEO of Tata Group’s Turkey operations. Earlier in his career, he worked in the M&A advisory group of FinansInvest in Istanbul
Sikander Ahmed
(Managing Director )
Sikander Ahmed is a Managing Director at Brightshore Global Investment B.V and Head of Private Credit. Sikander has been involved in executing several transactions across various geographies and serves on the board of a portfolio company in Turkey. Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Sikander worked in the investment banking divisions of CIBC World Markets and RBC Capital Markets in the U.S.
Erdem Kilic
(Vice President)
Erdem is a Vice President at Brightshore Global Investment B.V. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Erdem had six years of mid-market private equity investment experience at TRPE Capital Partners and One Equity Partners in Turkey. Previously, he worked in the Deal Advisory practice of PwC Istanbul advising both strategic players and private equity firms investing in various industries in Turkey

Christopher Haddad
(Senior Consultant)
Chris has four years of sell-side and buy-side experience in emerging markets. Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Chris was an Associate at Gulf Capital Credit Partners, where he worked on several credit deals throughout Sub-Saharan Africa and the MENA region. Earlier in his career, Chris worked over two years as a Senior Consultant on PwC Dubai’s M&A advisory team, with a focus on consumer/retail and FIG sectors.
Mohamed El Shafei
(Associate in the Private Credit platform)
Mohamed El Shafei is an Associate in the Private Credit platform at Brightshore Global Investment B.V . Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Mohamed was an Investment Analyst at International Finance Corporation (IFC) where he worked on several credit transactions across manufacturing and services sectors in MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa. Earlier in his career, Mohamed worked with EFG Hermes and Arab African International Bank in Egypt.
Mirsaid Kupuev

Mirsaid Kupuev is a Principal at Brightshore Global Investment B.V. Prior to re-joining the firm in 2013, Mirsaid was an Associate at Lazard Frères & Co., advising on merger and acquisition transactions in the Telecommunications, Media and Technology group in New York. Earlier in his career, Mirsaid worked in the business development group of M.H. Alshaya Co., a leading international retail franchise operator headquartered in Kuwait
